SUMMARY:YRCC night out Choir Revolution Pub Choir
DESCRIPTION:Pub Choir is so much fun! You drink and snack and sing pop songs. Choir Revolution is Brett Caswell and a guitar player. Members of YRCC went last time they were in Newmarket and it was a wonderful experience\, so we want to do it again and with more of us! The main song which we we learn in parts will be Give a Little Bit by Supertramp\, so I expect there will be other songs by Supertramp and from that era to sing along with. Tickets are #25. There’s a link to get your tickets. 6:00 arrive for social time\, 7:00 singing starts.

SUMMARY:Over the River and Through the Woods- Donna's play
DESCRIPTION:We’ve chosen a date to go to the show together! I (Renate) have bought 10 tickets. To reserve your spot\, log in and sign up! Link to Event page is below\, but you will need to be logged in. \nOver the River and Through the Woods by Joe DiPietra \nSunday dinner was never this complicated. When a young man announces he’s leaving for a job across the country\, his four Italian-American grandparents pull out every stop — and every guilt trip — to make him stay. Joe DiPietro’s warm and wonderfully funny comedy is a love letter to family: the kind that drives you absolutely crazy and wouldn’t have it any other way.

SUMMARY:Run-Through Rehearsal -on stage
DESCRIPTION:Our last rehearsal before the concert is on stage at Trinity Anglican Church in Aurora.  We will run through all the songs in concert order to make sure the order is good. \nNotice that the schedule says 6-10. Some people will need to arrive early. Everyone will be on stage at 7pm sharp. We often go overtime\, past 9:30. \nEveryone will have binders in concert order so there’s no searching for music. \nWe will learn how to walk in and out\, how and when to stand and sit\, and soloists and small groups will learn to move to and from and use the microphones. \nThe sound guy\, Doug\, will learn what we need to help us sound good and will make recordings. Joy\, our stage manager\, will help us to move efficiently and (maybe) gracefully. \n

SUMMARY:Winter 2026 Concert: HOLIDAY STORIES
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling Through Song: Did you know that Frosty the Snowman was a song before it was the animated film we watch every year? Before the film\, before the picture books\, we had a song. Many of the songs of this holiday season have been sung for generations. What songs are sung or listened to in your home in December? Are there movies you watch every year? We’re going to sing songs from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Sound of Music! We’re singing songs that tell the stories of this season: Christmas\, Hanukkah\, Hockey\, Winter\,…Come with cash and an appetite: our bake sale at intermission is famous\, legendary!
